Who built this

QuillAtlas is built by Gyorgy Bolyki, a Watford-based developer, under Magrathean UK Ltd.

The project started because local search is noisy. QuillAtlas keeps a static, readable atlas of independent places with summaries, locations, and clear limits on what is known.

What QuillAtlas is

• An editorially independent local directory. Each live listing is human-visited or directly verified before publication.
• Review summaries are AI-synthesised but editor-approved.They compress public review patterns into atmosphere, quality, service, and weak-point notes.
• No paid placements. There is no sponsored ranking, fast lane, or paid inclusion in v1.
• V1 scope: Watford food and coffee. Expansion waits until the starting city is materially complete.

The trust posture

• Named owner. Gyorgy Bolyki is accountable for the site and its correction/removal process.
• Transparent methodology. The full source and synthesis process is published at quillatlas.uk/methodology/.
• Provenance. Live entries show visit status, review source count, and refresh date where available.
• Not anonymous. The site publishes its methodology, operator, and contact route.
